I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Golf and CBD are here to stay. If you don’t believe me, please have a look at the Exhibitor List for the 2020 PGA Merchandise Show that’s going to take place a month from now. The list of CBD products has grown. One such company exhibiting is Asheville Botanicals.

Founded in 2015, Asheville Botanicals is a company that’s headquartered in Asheville, North Carolina. Their products are designed so that whether you’re looking for help with sleep, anxiety, or pain relief there’s a product that clearly will suit your needs. That is, with ingesting the minimal amount of products to give you the results that you seek.

As a person with chronic pain and a myriad of health problems, I’m always looking to improve my quality of life. Then again, aren’t we all? What fun is it being in pain? I admit, that I used to be the biggest prude when it came to anything associated with marijuana, after all, it is the “Devil’s Lettuce”. But I can tell you that CBD in some cases has helped me although my experience is somewhat limited.


I reached out to Asheville Botanicals while I was going through the Exhibitor List for the show. Their media contact (Arthur Viente) responded and enlightened me a little bit about their products. Asheville Botanicals are releasing two new products designed specifically for golf. “SWING” and “FAIRWAY”. Both products are tinctures that you place under your tongue for roughly 30 to 60 seconds before you swallow it.

The two sound like their different as one has the CBD qualities that help with stress and anxiety whereas the other has the qualities that are more closely associated with pain relief. Their products are 100% organic and non-GMO.


Mr. Viente shared his story with me, and his story is one that resonates with me.

I’ll be honest, I’m very intrigued by this product and in the event that I try it, I’ll share my observations. As someone who takes two Aleve and two Tylenol with Codeine just to cope with pain and to be able to play golf, workout, or go fly fishing these products sound like they’d warrant a try. There has to be a better way!
