In the near future look for a review of the Fast Eddie Collection. A belt from Nexbelt that I had the opportunity to test and review. Spoiler Alert: It tested well. With a minor suggestion.
(Just get me out of this hospital)

So how about that Tiger Woods?! Love him or loathe him he’s back!! I don’t care who you are it’s always nice to see a comeback
So here I am. Just giving a small update. The last time that I talked to everyone I was in a hospital bed in Niagara Falls. Stroke suspected. They couldn’t find anything which was odd considering the state that I was/am currently in. I was told that I’d be getting discharged. Happy to be going home the doctor came back in to inform me that they found something onothe final MRI. A cyst on the spine that needed emergency surgery. So I was transferred to Hamilton General Hospital. So having arrived at the hosting was wheeled to the Spinal Surgery floor where the surgeon came to see me. He evaluated me and said that “something’s not matching here”. He felt that as “massive and substantial” the cyst was it explained only half of the story. So he turned me over to a Neurology team.
It’s now Monday and I’m on the Stroke Unit. I’ve just had another MRI and imIback in my room resting. I’m on my way to recovery. I’ve seen progress daily in getting my strength back and use of my left leg and arms. Don’t know how long it’ll take but like Tiger I’ll be back. Always remember #fightandgrind.
Until The Next Tee!!
Setbacks. We’ve all had them. They come in different ways.
As I write this entry I’m sitting up in a wheelchair in my hospital room. Since I have no laptop I’m using my phone. So I apologize for any errors or typos.
So what happened? Well, I was brought to the hospital with a suspected stroke Saturday evening. If it wasn’t for the quick actions of my daughter and neighbour who knows how this would have turned out. Facial droop, numbness in the face and weakness all down the left side. Typical signs.
I’ve undergone tests like MRI, CT Scan etc and all came back with good news. My ultrasound showed a 55% blockage of my carotid arteries but they don’t intervene until 60%.
Yesterday was positive as I was able to get up and take 4 steps albeit shaky ones but I was up. I sat up (pic) and Crystal L M Toth who’s been so strong through this took me outside. This morning I was able to lift my arm a little bit more than I have been able to prior.
The morning hasn’t been the greatest so far. While I feel okay laying down I’ve experienced palps, chest pain and it spread into the jaw and shoulder. Left side.
I have found out rather recently that it’s a condition called Ischemia. Basically, blood is being cut off from my brain somewhere. Most likely my legs or heart. So I’ll be undergoing another MRI and something called a CT Angiography. Not really sure what that is.
All I want to say to my readers really is this. Don’t forget about me. I’ll be back. Writing new articles, editorials and feature reviews on the FlightScope mevo, Cobra Golf KING F8 ONE Length irons and more. So stay tuned!!
Until The Next Tee!!

2018. When it comes to golf it means that it’s a Ryder Cup year.
The teams are selected with Captain’s Picks in. So the teams and fans from the United States and European nations will descend Le Golf National to play in the bi-annual team event. The Albatros Course at Le Golf National is the venue selected for the playing of the 42nd Ryder Cup. This course is located in a suburb just southwest of Paris. The event is always full of raw emotion and nationalistic pride (in the case of Team USA).
In this press release shared by David Wheatley of Medi8 Golf it gives us a look at how the French Golf Federation is preparing to gives fans the ultimate Ryder Cup experience. Please see the press release below.
As the world of sport turns its eyes towards Paris for the Ryder Cup, the French Golf Federation (FFG) and Provision Events (PVE) are making sure that visitors to the city of love can experience the excitement of the biennial showdown between Europe and U.S.A without having to step inside the ropes of Ryder Cup venue Le Golf National.
In the centre of Paris, outside the Hotel de Ville, home to the Paris council, the French Golf Federation has commissioned PVE to create a Ryder Cup experience that will entertain and educate visitors to the city in the 2 weeks that lead up to France’s first ever Ryder Cup. During the process of bringing the Ryder Cup to France, the FFG was clear in its desire to bring golf to a wider audience and the role that a downtown fan experience would play, as Olivier Denis-Massé, Managing Director of Communication, Media, Marketing and Partnerships at FFG explains, “When we first bid to host the Ryder cup 8 years ago a fan zone was an important part of the global project. A lot of Parisians will not go to Le Golf national and we wanted to offer the chance to watch the Ryder Cup downtown and for those who have never played golf to experience the excitement of the event? This is also an opportunity for our clubs to meet potential new golfers and provide the opportunity for them to play the game.”
At 3200 square metres and filled with activities designed to help visitors experience the excitement of the Ryder Cup, this fan experience is one of the most ambitious designs and build that PVE has undertaken, a fact that isn’t lost on Nick Clemens, co-founder of PVE. He said, “This isn’t our first Ryder Cup but it’s certainly our biggest. It’s always special to be involved in the Ryder Cup but to create something of this scale and technical complexity in the heart of Paris really is a hugely exciting prospect and a resounding endorsement of our ability to deliver fan experiences on the biggest stage.”
With a big screen showing coverage of the action at Le Golf National, fans will be able to drink in the atmosphere of the event while taking part in various golfing challenges. With activities that include golf simulators, 100 foot putt, kidzone, chipping and bunker areas, free golf lessons and even a putting course that is a replica of the last 4 holes of the Ryder Cup course, the fanzone will be a test of golf for enthusiasts as well as an opportunity for anyone to pick up a club for the first time. With such a range of potential customers, the design and activation of the fanzone has had to draw on all of PVE’s experience in delivering large scale experiences, a key factor in them winning the bid to provide the downtown experience, as Denis-Massé concludes, “In order to make the downtown fan zone successful we have chosen PVE as a stake holder as we’ve seen what they have done for major golf events around the world. It has been key in our decision making process to have a skilled and experience company which understood clearly our brief and gave us the best proposal, based on their experience.”

Until The Next Tee!!
If you’ve been living under a rock you haven’t noticed a few things.
- Tiger Woods has been playing some pretty good golf this season. Even though many wrote the guy off.
- DeChambeau is fresh and great for the game of golf.
- For those that have forgotten… Keegan Bradley is still a world class golfer.
Who remembers when Keegan Bradley won the PGA Championship? That’s right the year was 2011. That victory was actually his debut in Major Championship golf. You might also recollect that Keegan Bradley also qualified for the 2012 Ryder Cup (U.S. Team). If in the event that you recollect that you might also remember that Keegan Bradley has tasted victory on three separate occasions. No wait! Make that four occasions after his recent victory at the 2018 BMW Championship. It’s almost by design that out of 4 victories this was his third in a playoff outlasting new World #1 Justin Rose.
It was a a little while ago when I pointed out on Twitter that after a long absence that Keegan Bradley was trending the right way. As a matter of fact, I said to the Marketing and Communications Specialist for Srixon Golf (Noelle Zavaleta) that at the RBC Canadian Open you could really start to see things change for Bradley. He finished in 4th place that week. Several weeks before he finished T-13 at the Military Tribute at The Greenbrier and a T-7 at THE PLAYER’S Championship. It’s always nice to see a player fight back and reclaim prior glory.
In the press release below as shared by Ms. Zavaleta we take a closer look at what Keegan Bradley used for the victory. Please have a look.
HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. – September 10, 2018 – Trusting the tour-validated performance of his Srixon and Cleveland Golf equipment, Keegan Bradley survived a rain-soaked Monday finish, and a sudden-death playoff to win the BMW Championship at Aronomick Golf Club in Newtown Square, PA. With this win, Keegan moves into 6th position in the FedExCup points standings and will head to Atlanta for the Tour Championship.
Entering the final-round three shots off the lead, Bradley went to work early and often making five birdies on his way to an opening-nine thirty-one. With plenty of work still to be done, Keegan would make three huge birdies on his final five holes to finish twenty-under-par for the week and force a sudden-death playoff. In sudden-death, Keegan would two-putt for par to capture victory, in the third leg of the PGA Tour playoffs.
“It’s so hard to win out here,” Bradley said. “To come all the way back here and win again, I mean, it just means so much, I’m speechless right now.”
At the BMW Championship, Bradley dominated the stat sheet. He finished the week first in Birdies (28), first in Putts per GIR (1.537), first in Strokes Gained: Putting (7.158), and T-1 in Strokes Gained: Total (11.535).
