All golf push carts are not created equally.

So much has changed when it comes to golf push carts. Long gone are the two-wheeled varieties that destroyed many a rotator cuff and shoulder ligaments. Golf push cats have gone from being a basic ‘lugger” of golf bags to almost being a full-blown accessory. Some of this is partly because you can really “pimp” out the carts with cooler bags, different colored wheels, seats, sand bottles, fans, gloves during the cooler weather and perhaps a speaker for your listening pleasure to help you get through the day.

We’ve seen the evolution of golf carts from a folding and unfolding standpoint as well. Carts can be unfolded or folded with relative ease while maintaining a compact size in the trunk of your car. As easy as the collapsing and folding are with golf’s modern push carts there is still a need to clumsily use your hands and feet to get the job done. Well, a new entry from Bag Boy is set to change this.

During the 2019 PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Florida one of my many appointments was with Dynamic Brands. As a golfer do you hate when you miss your putt because it hit a pitch mark that you never saw? I hate that. Sometimes, there’s a guy right there in your weekly foursome that is a little too lazy to bend over a fix them. Perhaps, you might serve as a volunteer at your golf course whereby you get free rounds of golf (or dare I say an hourly rate) to get off of your cart and fix ball marks. If you’re in any of these positions it’s something that I can relate to.

The GreenkeeperPro is a 33” tool designed to easily repair ball marks with just one injection into the green without bending down. Distributors are amongst the unsung heroes of the golf industry. Without them, many manufacturers would have issues getting their goods to consumers. This is actually something that isn’t thought about very often by those individuals outside of the industry. Ironically enough, I had this very discussion today at the Niagara Golf Show and Sale in Niagara Falls, Ontario.

Take for instance those golf consumers that live outside of the United States of America. Like us in Canada. Distributors of golf products (like Golf Trends Inc.) bring products into the country that otherwise would be very difficult to come by. Distributors supply some retail locations (off-course golf shops) and Pro Shops with products. A case of that is a company like Golf Trends Inc in Canada. This particular distributor carries products from Tour Edge Golf, Lamkin Grips, Golf Pride, and the variety of brands under the Dynamic Brands umbrella (Bag Boy, Datrek, Burton, IGotcha, and Devant Sports Towels).
