It’s official, we’ve survived another year and dare I say it this was a year that was marginally yet noticeably much better than the prior two year. although, that bar was set pretty low eh?! From my family and to you and yours I want to wish all of my readers a very Happy New Year and a terrific 2023. May it be a year full of fairways and greens and good health.

I am so thankful and grateful for everyone that takes the time out of their day to read what’s inside here at “The Next Tee”. 2022 was yet another successful year for the website and for those that are here for the reviews, I will try to get more written in 2023. After all, It’s why the majority of you are here.

2022 was a great year that some some firsts. First of all, my podcast (TeeBox Chatter) welcomed my Co-Host “Douger”. In 2022, I also got to spread my wings a little more as I became a contributing writer for Golfing Magazine. By nothing more than a stroke of good luck and being at the right place at the right time I fell into a golf commentating gig with GolfZoogle. I commentated a live stream for both the Southern Ontario Open and in Victoriaville, QC the Coupe Canada SaniMarc. Both events were streamed on YouTube and can be seen there. I covered my first CP Canadian Women’s Open as media. Not to be outdone, but I was fortunate enough to cover the PGA TOUR stars of tomorrow at the Fortinet Cup Championship which is the Tour Championship of PGA TOUR Canada. In many ways, looking back at 2022 it was a great year of growth.

I don’t know what 2023 has in store for me. But, I will say this. I’m looking forward to the ride and it’s a ride that I hope that all of you (and more) will accompany me on.

Alex
