Golf. The game can take us all over the world. Exotics lands where we have the opportunity to learn about different cultures and take in different sights, sounds and tastes.

Faraway places like Iceland, Ireland, Scotland, Morocco, the Dominican Republic, Abu Dhabi, Turkey and so many more. The options are endless.

Often I dream about visiting these lands. Up to this point in my life the most exotic locale that I’ve played in is Michigan… No Florida… No that wasn’t right either. South Carolina at Hilton Head Island. That was it.

A couple of years ago we sold our house and visited Iceland. A country so beautiful that it’s beyond description. While there making the drive Keflavik to Reykjavik I saw a stunning golf course carved through the barren lava fields. This course was called Keilir. One day I will return to Iceland with golf clubs.
