Can you believe that it’s already mid-January? Even though the guys on the PGA Tour have a wrap-around season it seems like they just finished the TOUR Championship. Now they’ve already played the SBS Tournament of Champions on Maui… Aloha! Won by American young gun and Titleist staffer Justin Thomas. Now they’ve moved on to the Sony Open in Honululu held at Waialae Golf Course and speaking of Justin Thomas… he follows up a victory by posting a first round 59. The kid is insane! The tour season isn’t the only reason why I am excited.

The 2017 PGA Merchandise Show is fast approaching. Time to see what the latest and greatest is to be offered to golf consumers around the world. The latest trend and maybe a product or two that just won’t make the cut. I have a lot of great meetings lined up which will hopefully result in some terrific reviews for you. Meetings with TaylorMade Golf and Callaway Golf and so much more. I’m looking forward to swinging a new product like Vertical Groove Golf (driver), rolling putts with Directed Force Putters and seeing what a  brand like DuoTrac is up to. But it’s also about networking and placing faces to names which is my favorite part about attending the show. I’m looking forward to meeting Ken Block from KenRick Golf (review posted at alexandertothgolf.blogspot.com), Lateral Line Golf owner and designer John Ambrose, the crew from OnCore Golf (Steve Coulton and Keith Blakely) and of course the ladies from Golf Marketing Services (Holly G. and Irlianna).

A week today I should be strolling the grounds of the World Golf Hall of Fame in St. Augustine, Florida taking in the game’s rich history. I cannot wait to get on the road again. Excitement is in the air.

Until The Next Tee!!

Getting ready for the show.

About Until The Next Tee

I am a soon-to-be 46 year old who has pursued golf over the past several years. I've played on Mini-Tours and in one U.S. Open Qualifier. I have worked in different aspects of the golf industry. I became interested in golf after a chance meeting of Mr. Arnold Palmer when he was in Hamilton, Ontario for the PGA Canadian Senior Open in 1996. I had no idea then that this beautiful game would consume me and develop into one of my passions.
